Syner Solar Dashboard is a customer-facing app designed for people who have installed photovoltaic panels and want to understand the real value of their system. Instead of focusing only on technical monitoring, the dashboard translates solar performance data into simple insights around savings, efficiency, CO₂ reduction and return on investment. The goal was to create a tool that works both as a useful product for customers and as a post-sale marketing asset for Syner.
After installing solar panels, many customers still wonder if their investment is really paying off. Energy data can be technical, fragmented or difficult to interpret, especially for non-expert users. Syner needed a way to make the value of solar energy visible, understandable and emotionally reassuring after the installation. The challenge was to design a dashboard that could answer three simple questions: Is my system working? How much am I saving? Can I improve my energy performance?
Design a simple and engaging dashboard that helps customers understand their solar performance at a glance. The dashboard needed to show savings clearly, build confidence in the installation, make technical data easy to understand, support long-term engagement with the brand, create opportunities for recommendations such as maintenance, battery storage or system optimisation.
The dashboard was designed as more than a monitoring tool. It acts as a post-installation experience that helps customers feel the value of their investment over time. By showing savings, efficiency and environmental impact in a clear way, the product reinforces trust and creates a stronger relationship between the customer, the installer and the brand.The experience was structured around three key messages:
